Data Deletion Instructions.
You have complete ownership and control over your data. In compliance with global privacy standards, you can easily request the permanent deletion of your account and dispute history at any time.
Option 1: Delete via Account Settings
The fastest way to purge your active profile and dashboard data is directly from the application:
- Sign In: Log into your account at messysteps.com/login.
- Manage Account: Navigate to your Account settings at `/account`.
- Confirm Deletion:Click on "Delete Account". All cases owned by you, including raw partner submissions, safely answers, and summarized verdicts, will be instantly and permanently purged.
Option 2: Manual Deletion Support
If you would like our support team to manually purge your account, cases, or any individual disputes you participated in:
- Send a clear request from your registered email address to support@messysteps.com.
- Specify whether you would like to delete a specific case or your entire profile.
- Our system administrators will process your request within 24 to 48 hours and send a confirmation email once the permanent database wipe is complete.
What is permanently purged
When you delete your account or individual cases, the following records are fully and permanently removed from our active database:
- Your user profile record (email address, full name, and avatar link).
- All active dispute files, participant invite tokens, and session cookies.
- All raw partner submissions, scope details, and intake forms.
- All generated AI verdicts, repair orders, and accepted resolutions.
