- Account Information: Email addresses and display names for users authenticating via Google or Magic Link.
- Dispute Details: The raw descriptions of your dispute, scope boundaries, intake submissions, and safety answers.
- AI Verdicts: Structured generated verdicts, including findings, fair points, and accepted repair orders.
- Access Keys: Securely hashed participant access tokens and cryptographic session cookies to protect case routes.
Our data integrity promise
We operate MessySteps under strict rules to ensure your private matters remain private:
- No Public Indexing: Case files, dashboard pages, and verdict reports are never indexed by Google or other search engines.
- No Data Selling: We never sell your personal information, dispute logs, or email addresses to any third parties.
- No Generic Model Training: Your private case data and submissions are never used to train generic AI foundation models.
AI processing & safety
Disputes are processed securely to generate your fair verdicts and repair plans:
- Secure Pipelines: Case details are securely passed to private enterprise-grade AI models using encrypted channels.
- Safety Filters: We utilize automated filters to parse submissions and block hate speech, safety threats, or severe abuse.
Google API disclosure
MessySteps' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We only access your basic Google profile (email, name, and avatar URL) to establish a secure account and display your profile picture inside the app navigation.
Your rights & controls
You have complete control over the information you store on MessySteps:
- Instant Case Deletion: You can request to delete any case you own. This permanently purges all submissions and verdicts from our primary database.
- Account Purge: You can request complete erasure of your user profile and dashboard data at any time.
